"Test the waters" without the commitment...

Try Scuba is a 1hr program that allows people to see if scuba diving is something they’ll love. It's a great way to give it a test without the commitment of a full scuba certification course.

One of our qualified, active-status, local Instructors will give you a basic lesson on how to operate the gear, a few underwater hand signals, some safety precautions & of course how to relax & enjoy yourself on scuba gear!  From there, just soak in the experience of weightlessness, hovering upside down, & simply the pleasure of breathing underwater!

You only need to bring a swimsuit & towel, plus a hair tie if you have long hair.

Although we often snag a few pictures both above & underwater, we encourage you to bring an underwater camera if you can.

BONUS:

The fee is $35 for the Try Scuba Experience.  If you end up loving it, $25 will be credited toward your initial equipment required to take the full scuba certification course (mask, booties, fins, snorkel).

*The gear credit is given if you sign up for a complete scuba certification course here through our dive shop (must be used within 90 days).

We usually run at least one Try Scuba per month.  We only allow a certain number of guests to participate each time so be sure & let us know which date you would like so we can secure your spot!

Prerequisites:

  1. At least 10 years old
  2. Must be free of:
  • Seizures/Epilepsy
  • Insulin-dependent diabetes
  • Current Asthma
  • Major Heart Conditions

Limited of 2 total Try Scuba sessions per person. Certified divers are limited to one session per person.
